The Official Launch of the New DCU’s First Look Is Imminent as First Marketing Arrives

Earlier today Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios gave fans the first look at one of 2025’s most eagerly anticipated films, Superman. On top of that was an official announcement that the film’s debut trailer will be launching this Thursday at 6am PST.

It’s a simple poster, featuring star David Corenswet’s Superman looking to the sky in a display of bright colors. It’s not only a sign of the film’s tone, but also an indication that the drab, dreary tone of the old DCEU is in the past.

The official motion poster as well was revealed, which is a variation of this same poster, but with one crucial change. In what appears to be the official theme music for Superman, we hear an orchestral score. It also seems to sample some of John Williams’ classic Superman theme as well.

Superman arrives in theaters July 11.
