One of the most hotly watched (and debated) topics surrounding Marvel the past few years has been who will be playing the title role in 2025’s Fantastic Four. Since it’s been nearly six years since Disney closed the deal on 20th Century Fox and the Fantastic Four made their way into Marvel Studios’ hands, fans have been waiting to see who will don the blue spandex once again.
Well today, in a celebration of the Valentine’s Day holiday, Marvel Studios finally gave the fans what they had been asking for.
While these names had all been leaked and rumored for a while, it’s great to see Marvel finally making it official.
- Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
- Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman
- Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
- Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing
The new key art shown also seems to tease a very 60s inspired look for the upcoming film, which has also been a speculated setting for the film since its announcement.
Filming on Fantastic Four is set to begin this summer, with a July 25, 2025 release date in theaters.
