Sony has announced the first major event of the year for PlayStation Studios. In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony has confirmed that their State of Play event will return this Wednesday.

While they didn’t tell everything that’s going to be shown, we know that the event will last 40 minutes and feature 15+ game reveals. They confirmed that this year’s upcoming games Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin will be among the trailers shown. As well as a mix of PS5 and PSVR2 titles, as the headset prepares to celebrate its first anniversary.
Sony has confirmed that the event will be livestreaming on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok simultaneously.
Other than that we don’t know a lot. There are rumors of potentially a Death Stranding 2 appearance, as well as next month’s hotly anticipated Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. There’s only a couple more days to wait, so we’ll find out very soon.
The Everything Entertainment Network will be here Wednesday evening to cover all the big announcements.
